Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson died yesterday.

I'd like to know how everybody felt about him.

Not just before his death,
But after.

I've noticed he was mostly hated in his late life but recently people have been talking as if they worshipped the ground he stood on. I want your opinions. =D

RE: Michael Jackson
Respect him for the past, kinda went crazy near the end. But just cause he went crazy doesn't mean he wasn't great when he was sane. Think that's why everyone is talking good about him. He did some scary things, but he didn't cross any bad lines, so he was still cool in my book.

I'm not fussed that Wacko Jacko is dead. One less paedophile in the world. I wonder how many children are now safe from getting abused?

RE: Michael Jackson
he was crazy alright, the type of insane you get when you get too much money, power and fame. however, crazy or not, thats his "personal life", regarding his "professional life" he did some pretty nice music, started from when he was 6 or 7 in the "5 Jacks" as a singer and pursued that further when he grew. I just hope that this is a "lesson" for those who have such money, power and fame, that they too can get over-dramatic like him, and end up the same way. I mean imagine bill gates going mad, I wonder what happens to FSX if he does go booboo-nutcracker...

Lol, there'd be missions like drug runs from Cuba to Miami in hot air balloons etc...

RE: Michael Jackson
In my opinion Jackson was a great artist and performer, and there will never be anyone like him again. He was depressed and extremely vulnerable and I think a lot of people, including the media, took advantage of this. But like many celebrities he became a victim of excess. He also had a child's perspective on the world, which is why he thought sleeping with children was normal.

I think his best time was the 80s. After that he became dogged by numerous scandals, which together with all the stuff he was doing to his body, culminated in his untimely death.

I'm of the exact same opinion as you, Phil.

BTW, I'm happy for people to speak their mind, but I will delete any of the sick jokes going around, if they get posted, as I feel that it is unprofessional and unnecessary to make fun of ANYONE in a public forum.

RE: Michael Jackson
Is it true that Jackson got burnt while doing a Coca Cola (or maybe pepsi) ad?

And LT G, it was the Jackson 5 ;)

RE: Michael Jackson
Firstly, I'm not here to have a go at anyone, just speaking my mind men.

Has anyone here every met Michael Jackson? Ever sat down and had a talk? No, I doubt it very much. I find it hard to sympathize with those who 'dislike' Michael Jackson due to his paedophilic crimes - do you realise he was never found guilty for his crimes? If your not found guilty, you are NOT GUILTY. Thats where the term comes from, men.

A disgusting stereotype has formed around Michael Jackson as a freak and a paedophile. Except people are quick to forget his great accomplishments and influence of people and music all around the world. It is quite easy to sit on your couch and mock him and other people for their bad qualities (qualities, which I may say, are false) except when the finger is pointed at you, you claim injustice. What we see on TV is one big hyperbole, a grand exaggeration of the truth to get audiences, viewers and ratings. We need to accept what the USA justice system has decided and move on, and celebrate a man's life for his good qualities not his bad.

If anyone here has been a substance abuser, at the wrong end of a scandal or stereotyped as something you are not would know that sometimes life and bloody well suck and we all need to put ourselves in his shoes for once.

Think before you type men.
